Duke Strikes $5.4M Deal With EPA In Coal Plant Saga
Duke Energy Corp. will pay a $975,000 fine and spend at least $4.4 million on environmental projects, ending a suit scheduled for trial next month alleging Duke illegally modified equipment at coal-fired plants across North Carolina, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Thursday.
