The U.S. International Trade Commission said Wednesday it would take up a case accusing Nintendo Co. Ltd. of infringing patents related to a fantasy video game with imports of its Wii gaming system and wireless controllers.

Nintendo Co. Ltd. and its American unit were hit with a complaint Monday by a live-action adventure game manufacturer alleging the entertainment giant's importation of its Wii video game system and wireless controllers infringes patents relating to a fantasy video game.
