A Florida federal judge on Friday tossed an employee whistleblower's False Claims Act suit accusing pharmaceutical company Eisai Inc. of promoting off-label uses for its drugs and paying medical providers to use its drugs in unapproved ways.

Claims Cut From Ex-Eisai Worker's Whistleblower Suit
A Florida federal judge on Tuesday cut four claims from a former employee's 34-count whistleblower suit alleging Eisai Inc. promoted unapproved uses of lymphoma drugs and other medications, stripping out retaliation, kickback and some false claims allegations.
