An Illinois federal judge all but finished off a class action by a shopper accusing Abercrombie & Fitch Stores Inc. of not honoring promotional gift cards, saying her argument for summary judgment showed problems with her breach of contract claim in a ruling Friday.

Abercrombie Class Certified In Gift Card Suit
An Illinois federal judge on Wednesday certified a class of consumers accusing Abercrombie & Fitch Stores Inc. of breaching a contract by refusing to redeem gift cards that were never supposed to expire, though he narrowed the class' scope.
