An Ace Ltd. subsidiary agreed Thursday to settle its suit against the developer of the New York Mets' Citi Field alleging the insurer has no duty to defend or indemnify a construction worker's bodily injury suit until the developer pays a self-insured retention.

An Ace Ltd. subsidiary lodged a suit on Wednesday alleging that it has no duty to defend or indemnify bodily injury suits until the developer of Citi Field, the New York Mets' new ballpark, pays its $500,000 self-insured retention for each occurrence.
