A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a Johnson Brothers Liquor Co. suit that accused Bacardi USA Inc. and Brown-Forman Corp. of violating Minnesota law and the Sherman Act by nixing distribution agreements, saying Johnson Brothers hadn't cited an unreasonable restraint on competition.

Johnson Brothers Liquor Co. slapped Bacardi USA Inc. and Brown-Forman Corp. with a suit in Minnesota on Monday accusing them of violating state law and the Sherman Act by pulling the plug on distribution agreements.
