A South Carolina federal judge on Wednesday rejected AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP's bid to toss a suit alleging it induced doctors to infringe a Palmetto Pharmaceuticals LLC patent when they prescribed AstraZeneca's cholesterol-lowering drug Crestor, ruling there was a genuine issue of fact in the case.
