Quest Escapes FCA Suit Over Medicare Kickbacks
A New York federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a suit against Quest Diagnostics Inc. brought by a subsidiary's ex-employees accusing the company of running a Medicare kickback scheme to increase its reimbursable test referrals, following the government's decision not to intervene.

Ex-Unilab GC Participation Dooms Relator's FCA Case
A New York federal judge ruled in an order released Tuesday that a former Unilab Corp. general counsel's involvement in the relator group in a Medicare kickbacks whistleblower suit precluded the group, but not the government, from pursuing the case.
