Whirlpool, LG Close Out Refrigerator Patent Dispute
Whirlpool Corp. and LG Electronics Inc. have put to rest a series of long-running disputes over refrigerator patents, with the parties having agreed to settle three separate infringement cases in Delaware and New Jersey federal courts, the companies said on Friday.

Whirlpool, LG Can Retry Patent Suit: Judge
A Delaware federal judge on Friday ordered the retrial of a fight over refrigerator patents between LG Electronics USA Inc. and Whirlpool Corp., which resulted in a $1.8 million jury verdict for Whirlpool last year.
