A Massachusetts federal jury on Friday ruled that IZI Medical Products LLC infringed two patents asserted by Hologic Inc. in a suit over a breast cushion that reduces discomfort during mammograms, delivering the verdict about three months after Hologic filed suit.

Medical imaging equipment company Hologic Inc. filed a patent infringement, trade dress and unfair competition lawsuit Monday in Massachusetts against IZI Medical Products LLC over a breast cushion that reduces discomfort during mammograms.
