Nigerian oil company Oranto Petroleum Ltd. on Monday resolved a suit in Wyoming claiming Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and Repsol Exploracion SA subverted the plaintiff's contractual rights to a valuable drilling area in Sierra Leone.

Nigerian oil company Oranto Petroleum Ltd. on Thursday accused Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and Repsol Exploracion SA in Wyoming federal court of encroaching on a valuable drilling area off the coast of Sierra Leone for which the plaintiff held a development contract.
