A New York federal judge on Monday allowed claims against underwriters of Puda Coal Inc.'s 2010 public stock offering to proceed in the family of cases where it is alleged the Chinese coal miner's chairman sold the company's sole asset to a private equity firm unbeknownst to stockholders for months.
