Fireplace Buyers Urge Approval Of $1.9M Burn-Risk Deal
Customers who bought Miles Industries Ltd. glass-front fireplaces urged a California federal judge Tuesday to approve a deal worth at least $1.9 million that would settle class claims that the company didn't warn them that the glass panels can overheat and cause third-degree burns.
