Impax Laboratories Inc. on Friday inked a deal with two Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries, giving Impax licensing rights to produce generic versions of the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder drug Concerta and putting to rest a lengthy patent infringement battle against the generic drugmaker.

Two Johnson & Johnson units filed another patent infringement suit against Impax Laboratories Inc. and another generics maker in Delaware on Thursday over Impax's efforts to tap into the lucrative market for the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder drug Concerta.
