A California county on Monday settled its proposed class action accusing 11 drug companies of violating a federal pricing agreement by overcharging clinics serving the poor, nearly a year after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that only the federal government can enforce such agreements.

A California county sought permission Thursday to hand the U.S. evidence uncovered in a proposed class action — tossed by the U.S. Supreme Court in March — claiming major drugmakers violated pricing agreements with the federal government by overcharging clinics serving the poor.
