Warner Bros. Wins Latest Battle In Superman Heir IP Saga
A California federal judge handed Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. another victory Thursday in its long-running fight for control of the rights to Superman, siding with the studio on the two remaining disputed portions of a controversial 2001 contract with the heirs of one of the superhero's co-creators.

Superman Creator's Estate Gave Up Rights, DC Comics Says
Time Warner Inc.'s DC Comics on Thursday asked for summary judgment in a suit brought by the heirs of Superman co-creator Jerome Siegel, saying the Ninth Circuit had found that Siegel's estate representatives gave up the disputed Superman and Superboy copyrights as part of an earlier settlement.
