Less than a month after asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review a decision that gutted two of its software activation technology patents, a legal publishing company has agreed to dismiss a Texas federal court suit accusing Apple of infringement.

A Texas company on Monday sued Electronic Arts Inc., Symantec Corp., Valve LLC and 10 other software publishers alleging widespread infringement of two patents for software activation technology.
