EEOC Settles Breastfeeding Bias Suit
A debt collection agency on Friday agreed to pay $15,000 to settle a sex-discrimination suit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Texas federal court, resolving claims that it illegally fired a woman who had asked to use a breast pump at work.

Title VII Doesn't Protect Breastfeeding Women: Judge
A Texas federal judge last week ruled in favor of a debt collection agency that allegedly fired a woman because she wanted to pump breast milk while at work, finding lactation and breast pumping are not covered by laws protecting against sex discrimination.
