Maclaren Wins Suit Claiming Ace Policy Was Wrongly Scrapped
A New York federal judge on Monday ruled Ace American Insurance Co. had improperly canceled the policy of English stroller maker Maclaren, which sought coverage for product liability claims, because the broker who collected the premium but didn't give it to Ace was acting as the insurer's agent.
