Judge Pulls Plug On Faulty Panasonic Plasma TV Claims
A New Jersey federal judge on Tuesday dismissed for the second time a class action accusing Panasonic Corp. of hiding the declining picture quality of its plasma TVs from consumers, ruling the plaintiffs failed to make specific enough allegations in an amended complaint to keep the suit alive.

A New Jersey federal judge on Thursday tossed a putative class action alleging Panasonic Corp.'s Viera plasma televisions made in 2008 and 2009 do not retain their picture quality over the long haul, but left the plaintiffs 30 days to replead their claims.
