CytoSport Inc., the maker of the Muscle Milk brand of nutrition products, reached a $5.3 million settlement Thursday in a California federal court suit alleging the company misrepresented its products' nutritional value.

A California federal judge on Thursday again whittled down false advertising claims against the maker of the Muscle Milk brand of nutritional supplement products, finding several of the revised class action's allegations accusing the company of misrepresenting its products' nutritional value didn't hold up.
