Kentucky-based Nurses' Registry and Home Health Corp. has agreed to pay $16 million to settle a whistleblower suit accusing it of Medicare fraud, according to a proposed stipulation filed Friday in federal court.

Kentucky-based Nurses Registry and Home Health Corp. said Monday that a whistleblower suit accusing it of Medicare fraud should be tossed because one of the ex-employees who brought it posted about the case on Facebook before the federal government decided to intervene.
