SunTrust Mortgage Inc. on Friday reached a deal with six former employees and rival George Mason Mortgage LLC to end its contract and unfair competition suit accusing the workers and GMM of conspiring to steal business and trade secrets.

SunTrust Mortgage Inc. on Friday slapped George Mason Mortgage LLC and six former employees with a suit in Virginia federal court over alleged trade secrets violations stemming from their plan to steal SunTrust clients and business, made weeks before the workers joined GMM.
