A Michigan federal judge on Friday threw out a putative class action claiming Thomas M. Cooley Law School fraudulently inflated the employment figures of its graduates, saying the students shouldn't have relied on the school's "untrustworthy" reports.

A Michigan federal judge on Thursday refused to add the American Bar Association and the National Association for Law Placement to a putative class action brought by former Thomas M. Cooley Law School students alleging fraudulently inflated employment figures.
