Executive Powers Protect US Base In Japan From Enviro Suit
A California federal judge Friday ended a 12-year-old lawsuit between environmental organizations and the Department of Defense over the construction of a U.S. military base in Japan, saying the construction falls within the executive branch's protected treaty powers.
