Judge Upholds Penalty For InnoLux CEO's Patent Criticism
A Texas federal judge on Monday refused to trim a boosted royalty against Chimei InnoLux Corp. for its infringement of Mondis Technology Ltd.'s television and computer monitor patents, saying InnoLux had been properly penalized for its CEO's disparaging remarks about the U.S. patent system.

CEO's Jab At Patent Law Costs InnoLux Double Royalties
A Texas federal judge on Friday ordered InnoLux Corp. to pay Mondis Technology Ltd. $1.9 million in Mondis' infringement suit over computer monitor and television patents, and doubled the royalty rate InnoLux will pay in the suit after its CEO knocked U.S. patent enforcement.
