Summer Infant Inc. and Lexington Insurance Co. on Monday settled a dispute over whether the insurer would cover the children's products maker in a privacy class action over video baby monitors that allegedly allowed strangers to see inside people's homes.

Lexington Insurance Co. asked a Rhode Island federal judge on Tuesday to force Summer Infant USA Inc. to arbitrate a dispute over coverage for an underlying class action accusing the infant products maker of selling baby monitors that compromise privacy.
