A federal judge on Monday said that Adelphia Communications Corp. creditors' suit over $150 million in stock it sold before its bankruptcy should remain in bankruptcy court, denying defendant FPL Group Inc.'s request to bump the case to the district court level.

A district judge should hear Adelphia Communications Corp. creditors' claim that energy holding company FPL Group Inc. owes them $150 million connected with a prebankruptcy stock sale, FPL said Wednesday in a New York court filing.
