A New York federal judge tossed a putative class action Thursday that accused digital media retailer Dada Entertainment LLC of billing customers of wireless carriers such as AT&T Inc. for services they never authorized, finding the claims were released in a settlement Dada struck in a similar case.

Sony, Others Face Class Suits Over Phone Bill Cramming
A New York consumer hit Sony Corp. and two digital media retailers with a pair of putative class actions last week, alleging they billed customers of wireless carriers such as AT&T Inc. for music and other media downloads they didn't make.
