A Dow AgroSciences LLC researcher who admitted to stealing up to $20 million worth of agricultural research trade secrets and sending them to China and Germany was sentenced Wednesday to more than seven years in prison.

Prosecutors asked an Indiana federal judge on Monday to sentence a former Dow AgroSciences LLC researcher to more than seven years in prison for stealing $300 million worth of trade secrets and sending them to China and Germany.
