A Pennsylvania federal judge on Monday preliminarily approved a multimillion-dollar settlement in DuPont Co.'s multidistrict litigation over its now-recalled herbicide Imprelis that lets members of several classes maintain individual claims against the company and still receive reimbursement for damage to trees caused by the herbicide.

DuPont Co. on Friday reached a settlement in a Pennsylvania multidistrict litigation over its now-recalled herbicide Imprelis, allowing several consumer classes to maintain individual claims against the company and still receive tree maintenance, replacements and monetary reimbursements for damage caused by the herbicide.
