CBS Corp. and Helferich Patent Licensing LLC on Wednesday filed a joint motion seeking to dismiss all claims and counterclaims in a case alleging the network infringed mobile alert technology patents through its sending of text messages to viewers.

CBS Corp. on Tuesday became the latest company hit with a patent suit by Helferich Patent Licensing LLC, which accused the network in Illinois of infringing four mobile alert technology patents through its use of text messages sent to viewers.
