The state of Oregon has inked a $4.3 million settlement with McKesson Corp. over allegedly inflated average wholesale drug prices, state officials said Wednesday, adding to the company's already steep bill for practices said to have ripped off Medicaid agencies across the country.

The state of Oregon on Monday sued McKesson Corp. in California federal court, claiming the drug distributor conspired to artificially inflate average wholesale drug prices, costing taxpayers millions in higher Medicaid reimbursements.
