Judge Slashes Fees In FedEx Case For Attys' Poor Work
In approving a $9.6 million settlement of a wage-and-hour class action against FedEx Office & Print Services Inc., a California federal judge on Tuesday cut the plaintiffs' attorneys' fees by $800,000 in light of the allegedly small amount class members were getting out of the deal.

FedEx Office & Print Services Inc. on Friday reached a settlement deal of nearly $10 million with thousands of former employees in a proposed class action in California federal court accusing the company of stiffing workers on meal breaks and overtime wages.
