Skee-Ball machine manufacturer Skee-Ball Inc. and Full Circle United LLC, which runs a competitive league for the game, have agreed to settle a consolidated suit over whether "skee-ball" is a generic term that cannot be trademarked, according to an order filed in New York federal court.

Competitive skee-ball league operator Full Circle United LLC on Tuesday lodged a breach of contract and trademark suit in New York, alleging game manufacturer Skee-Ball Inc.'s "skee-ball" mark is a generic term and the trademark should be thrown out.
