Best Buy Escapes Privacy Suit Over Returns Policy
A Florida federal judge on Tuesday tossed a putative class action alleging Best Buy Co. Inc.'s policy of swiping the driver's licenses of customers returning products constituted a privacy law violation, ruling the suit had not stated a valid claim.
