A federal judge in Atlanta rejected a collective action certification bid Thursday in a minimum wage and overtime suit against burger restaurant chain owner Steak N Shake Operations Inc., ruling there was not enough "glue" to hold the proposed 65,000-member class together.

Burger restaurant chain owner Steak N Shake Operations Inc. was hit with a putative class action Tuesday in Georgia federal court by two employees who say the company failed to pay minimum wage and overtime to hourly employees.
