A Texas federal judge on Friday threw out a whistleblower's False Claims Act suit against L-3 Communications Integrated Systems LP over alleged deficiencies in airplanes that were sold to the government, saying the former employee had failed to allege his claims with adequate specificity.

L-3 Communications Integrated Systems LP asked a Texas federal court on Monday to toss a former employee's False Claims Act whistleblower suit alleging he noticed deficiencies in three airplanes the company later sold to the government, saying he brings only "threadbare" and "unspecific" assertions.
