9th Circ. Won't Revive $80M Wells Fargo Investor Suit
The Ninth Circuit on Tuesday affirmed a lower court's dismissal of an $80 million investor class action accusing Wells Fargo & Co. of prematurely redeeming over $800 million in securities to avoid interest payments, ruling that a clause in the contract allowed for the bank's redemption.

Wells Fargo Dodges $80M Suit Over Securities Redemption
Wells Fargo & Co. won a bid Monday to dismiss a putative class action in California federal court alleging the bank prematurely redeemed $837.5 million in securities, a move investors called a contract breach designed to avoid $80 million in interest payments.
