Nestle Waters North America Inc. has settled its suit accusing Malaysian Assurance Alliance Berhad of wrongfully refusing to cover it in a lawsuit over a water dispenser that allegedly caused a fire, according to a dismissal order entered Thursday in Florida federal court.

A Florida federal judge on Monday declined to dismiss Nestle Waters North America Inc.'s lawsuit against Malaysian Assurance Alliance Berhad alleging the insurer improperly denied coverage to the company in underlying litigation over a water dispenser that allegedly caused a fire.
