A Pennsylvania federal judge said Wednesday that a South Carolina construction products company must notify Mendelsohn Drucker & Associates PC before it sells assets of more than $10,000, granting the law firm a partial win in its battle to recoup $400,000 in legal fees related to a patent fight.

A Pennsylvania federal judge ruled Thursday that Mendelsohn Drucker & Associates PC's efforts to recoup over $400,000 in legal fees from a South Carolina construction products company for patent litigation counsel would move forward in Pennsylvania, rejecting the manufacturer's efforts to have the case dismissed or moved.
