Deepwater MDL Court Nixes Cameron's $3.4M Fee Bid Again
The Louisiana federal judge overseeing the Deepwater Horizon multidistrict litigation again refused on Friday to award Cameron International Corp. $3.4 million in attorney fees despite an earlier ruling that defendant Liberty Insurance Underwriters Inc. owes Cameron $50 million for rejecting coverage for suits over the company's blowout preventer.

Blowout Preventer Co. Sues Insurer For $50M To Fund BP Deal
Cameron International Corp., the maker of the failed Deepwater Horizon blowout preventer, sued Liberty Insurance Underwriters Inc. Monday, seeking $50 million to help fund its $250 million settlement with BP PLC and its defense in multidistrict litigation over the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
