Intellectual property merchant bank Ocean Tomo LLC last week reached a settlement with former managing director Steve Lee over allegations that Lee violated his employment contract and misappropriated trade secrets when he copied company files after his resignation from the company.

A California federal judge on Friday barred an ex-managing director of Ocean Tomo LLC from divulging confidential information amid claims by the patent capital company that the former employee breached a confidentiality agreement and stole trade secrets.
