Ex-Hearst Intern Says Unpaid Work Violates Labor Laws
A former unpaid intern at The Hearst Corp. filed a class action against the media conglomerate Wednesday in New York federal court, claiming it violates federal and state labor laws by using her and hundreds like her as a cheap way to plug gaps in its labor force.
