A Delaware federal judge on Wednesday dismissed an e-commerce patent suit by Walker Digital LLC against Amazon.com Inc. and others, ruling that the company lost its rights to the patents in an earlier settlement with eBay Inc.

Walker Digital LLC on Tuesday jumped on Expedia Inc. and Barnes & Noble Inc. in separate suits alleging infringement of a patent used to provide targeted product offers to online customers, the very day the patent was issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
