Liberty Asks Court To Limit Exxon Refinery Repair Coverage
Liberty Mutual on Monday asked a federal judge to limit its potential coverage of U.S. Metals Inc.'s $2.2 million settlement with ExxonMobil over the cost to replace defective components in the oil giant's refinery equipment, saying that a Texas Supreme Court ruling in the case last year restricts coverage to certain damaged parts.
