AmeriGas Propane LP reached a settlement with the operator of consumer complaint website "Pissed Consumer" in Pennsylvania federal court Thursday, ending a suit that alleged the site used AmeriGas' trademark to confuse consumers into clicking ads for the company's rivals.

AmeriGas Propane LP on Friday sued a consumer complaint website in Pennsylvania federal court, claiming the site used its trademark and manipulated online search tools and social networking sites like Twitter to confuse consumers into clicking on advertisements for the company's rivals.
