A California federal judge has refused to bar Westerman Hattori Daniels & Adrian LLP, which is representing an inventor in a patent case, from accessing confidential documents produced by accused infringer Sonix Technology Co. Ltd., rejecting Sonix's claim that the firm is in a joint venture with the inventor's company.
