A Texas federal judge on Wednesday conditionally certified a class of Centene Co. of Texas LP nurses who contend the Medicaid insurer wrongly denied them overtime pay in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Call center workers at Medicaid insurer Centene Corp. asked a Texas federal judge Monday to force disclosure of other staffers who might also feel they were wrongly denied overtime pay, saying the company has lied about employment arrangements to obstruct certification of a national collective action.
