Apax Fights Fraud Claim In $1B Hellas Clawback Suit
Manhattan-based Apax Partners LP sought Monday to block the latest bid by liquidators for Hellas Telecommunications II SCA to bring claims that Apax and fellow private equity backer TPG Capital plundered $1.1 billion from the telecom before its insolvency, saying Apax had no knowledge of any alleged wrongdoing.
